I'll usually take a Bushmills neat, or a Stoli Gimlet. I'm really more of a beer drinker when I'm out and about. Lower octane = Increased chances for survival.

Waboritas. Sammy Hagar is my sobriety's enemy.

Or the ol' standby, the Captain and Coke.

Probably my most frequent drink is a rum and Coke. One of the best things I've ever had, though, has been Goldschlager mixed with just a teensy bit of root beer. Pretty strong, but so smooth you hardly even realize it's got any alcohol at all.

American Honey and lemonade. Mmmm, pleasin'! Add a splash of soda if you like the fizz.

Other things I like lately-

Any good single-malt Scotch. Especially with a cigar.

Canadian whisky with Sprite or 7-Up.

Cap'n + Coke. Recently, for use on gigs or just out and about.

My old standard from when I was 17 until present- Jim Beam and water, lemon twist. Sub Jack if Jim isn't in the house.

Also been digging on Mojitos lately. Needs to be made with simple syrup, fresh mint, fresh limes, Appleton Estate rum, ice, and a splash of soda.

It's a seasonal decision for me........during the cold months, Jack and Coke is my pick, and during the warm months, Gin and Tonic (w/lime) does the trick.

Of course, I really don't care what the season is for beer or a good red wine.
