What's your favorite breakfast

I love breakfast, My favorites are Lox on a bagel with cream cheese or the classic ham egg and cheese sandwich, but I'm looking for some new inspiration.

What do you like to start the day with?

I like to start the day with scrambled eggs (w/ cheese and salsa) and a bread product of some sort (bagel, waffle, english muffin). An omlette with cheese, mushrooms, and bacon works well, too.

However, breakfast for me usually consists of a cereal bar and a Diet Pepsi in the car on my way to work.

I take two slices whole grain dark bread,, toast them a little and put them side by side on a plate, spackle a 2-3 mm layer fresh/creamy goat or sheep cheese on them (this part is important, fresh and creamy it is..), then on top of that a "coating" with some tapenade of what kind you now prefer (pumpkin, tomatoe, aubergine, pesto, whatever), sweep it with the black pepper mill and then drizzle some olive oil on top of that. Then I fry two eggs, both sides, smashed yolk , some salt, some white pepper (fine grinded) and when the eggs are nice and golden/brownish, just lay them down on the prepared bread slices, sweep with black pepper mill, and serve with a cup of nice hot green tea of preferred taste.

Healthy, inexpensive, and REALLY great tasting.

Wow, do you make the pigs magically appear and then take care of them yourself?

Considering a similar discussion going on about pigs at this time, I won't delve into that...

a cup of green tea with lemon. or any kind of tea, usually herbal, also quite often regular breakfast tea with milk, is usually all i have in the morning. never sugar in any of these teas, either. the healthiest way to start the day if you ask me.

sometimes i love the classic bacon (very well done) egg and cheese. or two eggs over easy and toast.

i guess im more of a tea person than a breakfast person..

M-F, organic faux-poptarts & coffee.
On the weekend, a mountain of French toast, w/gallons of coffee.
A strategically-placed omelette here & there to break things up a bit.

I have to be at work at 4:45 M-F, so usually I don't have time to eat breakfast.

The best breakfasts come when you sleep in and you are comfortably awake. Mmmm. For me it would consist of pancakes, heaps of bacon, sausage links, tons of maple syrup, toast, orange juice and a huuuge cup of black tea (no cream, no sugar).

God I'm hungry just thinking about it.
