talkbass isn't as entertaining to be as it used to be but I still come here regularly when I'm bored. I play a lot of flash games, and youtube makes up 75% of my internet usage.

TalkBass, OffsetGuitars.com, Basschat, Facebook, a couple of adult sites whose discussion forums allow a wide range of topics, various PC how-to sites, YouTube (history, science, and computer vids), and if all of that fails:

http://www.tvover.net/TVStation,search,0-0-0-0-0.aspx

or

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamendo

The neat thing about the Internet is that if one keeps following the links, then one will learn something new. Most of the computer stuff that I've posted on TalkBass is the product of accidental discovery.

Catching up with my friends at a distance on facebook, I enjoy watching interviews with Foreign Heads of State especially on Charlie Rose. I get my intellectual humor from watching Christopher Hitchens on youtube.

YouTube and the infinite videos it has on history (Weaponology was quite enjoyable to watch - it went through the history of each weapon. Spetsnaz, Green Berets, AK-47, et cetera...).

TalkBass

Various websites on history

BBC/CNN

Memebase and it's many sub-catagories

And a few others.

Well of course. The Soldier is just another weapon.

I knew the Spetsnaz...But I never KNEW the Spetsnaz. After watching that episode, I have a new found respect for them. They're are definitely the last person I would want to encounter in a battle.

You know the best thing about Stumble Upon? It has a consciousness (is that how you spell it?).

Last month when it was the weeks for the finals,I accidently clicked "Stumble".Some time after,a website appeared reading: "Don't you have exams to study? Now go and study instead of Stumbling!".
If it wasn't for it I'd be Stumbling for a few hours before I realize...

Also one night I lost it,I was Stumbling as I was in a trance.Than a website appeared reading "You have reached the end of the Internet".

pro tip:Stay away from that thing,it possesses people.

Now,my master's calling...

*clicks Stumble!*

TB is only used if I am boread and at work. The two are strongly correlated.

If Im bored at home I dont have the internets available, so I'll read, watch some pointless TV, go to the gym, or get my fiancee in the sack. Im very rarely bored at home.
