Where can I get this?

I need some contact (one side is sticky) paper that has that holographic (like the back of a CD) stuff on it for a finish job on a pickguard, but I can't seem to find any of it at craft stores. Is there a special name for this stuff that I keep not knowing when I ask?

You probably would want to get some sign vinyl. It would hold up much better than any contact paper. Check out this google link:

There is some holographic vinyl on ebay. You may really want to give a local sign shop a shout and see if they can help you. Fast Signs or Sign-a-Rama or a local shop. Plus the have the plotter to make the cut for you. A good designer should be able to duplicate you current pickguard and cut the vinyl for you. You have to spend a few bucks, but it may be worth it. I actually used to work for a sign shop for a few years doing design work.
