I am looking at starting to buy some new releases on vinyl and I have googled around a bit and I haven't been able to find a place that has a large selection of new releases on vinyl. So, where do you guys buy yours?

here's the link: http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/

I'm guessing that the bigger stores (at least in our area) are not getting the vinyl releases.

I like these people
Saw Her Ghost records - Metal
Feast Of Tentacles - Doom/Sludge
Chrome Peeler - Cover quite a few metal and punk sub-genres
Conspiracy Records - European, not sure if they ship to Canada but my first stop for Isis and the like
Important Records - Doom, Electronica, Post-Rock
Robotic Empire - Again, lots of good limited Isis and Torche kinda stuff. US based so probably a safer bet than Conspiracy.
None of this may be to your taste though, so unfortunately the only solution is to get on myspazz, find artists you like, and research who actually distributes the vinyl from there. Hopefully my little list will help somebody discover some great music...

But if I want to but stuff from a lot of different labels at once then I usually buy from Vinyl Collective. They're really nice people and they're having a sale right now. Distros are also a really good place to buy records from. No Idea has a really big distro. And the best thing about buying from No Idea is you can get a copy of Reinventing Axl Rose. Everybody knows your not cool until you have a copy of Reinventing Axl Rose.
