Unhappy Where on this Earth ????

Where on this Earth can I get a bass for $60, I had my sweet $150 saved up for a sweet SX, but my lucky self had to use them for school fines (lost books etc.) in any case I now have 60$, all I really want is just a beater bass, I doubt ill find a bass going for $60, but any suggestions would help

More like keep my books glued onto my hands, but I probably will save up for the SX, good idea, ill check my yard sales this weekend.

Dude, at least you have a bass. There was a time in my life that I was so poor, I didn't have a bass of my own. I dug a classical guitar with a busted top out of the dumpster, defretted it, and strung it up with the heaviest green weedeater string that I could find. And that was my bass, for almost 2 years.
