I'm going to Vegas in a few weeks and was wondering if you guys had any restaurant recommendations. BBQ? Seafood? Buffets? Donuts? Lets' hear 'em!

Thanks

Yep. All of that. :-) The food in Vegas is good. And fairly cheap.

20 years ago I used to go the Tillerman. Web says it's still there. Nice place.

There is good food everywhere. There is too much food. I've gotten up at 4AM, still drunk, walked down to the hotel lobby/casino, and ordered a steak. And got it! You can get anything you want anytime you want it in Vegas. For a price of course.

Purposely ignoring your comment about "good" Winnb, I can get food everywhere around here 24 hours a day seven days a week too. Yes, even a steak.

If you like 'gourmet' burgers, Hubert Keller's Burger Bar is in the walkway/shopping area that connects Excalibur to Mandalay Bay and it's excellent.

I had a kobe beef, blue cheese, caramelized onion, and prosciutto burger on a ciabatta with sweet potato fries and was amazing. That meal came in just under $30 with a beer so not super cheap, but worth every dollar IMO.

Someone else here asked for a similar suggestion like you did, I recomended this place, and got a thumbs up. In fact, every person I've sent there has approved.

Here's said meal:

When I was there this August, all the food were super expensive. We ended up eating at fast food places because of the prices (even though fast food prices are also higher than their usual at other locations).

I think my favorite meal that I ate there was at Pearl at MGM Grand. Upscale chinese. I'm a sucker for pretty much any asian food.

Sam's Town Firelight Buffet, has an awsome selection, and voted Best Value in Vegas. Dollar for Dollar you can't beat it. 2 am steak and eggs downtown Fremont street at the Golden Gate is like $5 and totally worth it....ummm...everynight...LMAO Also the Buffet at the Rio is great, and New York New York, Excalibur buffet sucked last time I was there, but the Tournament of Kings is very cool.

Yep. Pretty much anything on the strip is pricey. There aren't many good cheap meals anymore unless you go downtown to the old strip area.

There is a Brazilian steakhouse in the Mirage called Samba. It's a bit pricy, but worth it.

Memphis BBQ - http://www.memphis-bbq.com

The menu is fantastic, if you like pulled pork I highly recommend their sandwich named "The King". The BBQ nachos are also a pretty good appetizer.

Whenever my friends would visit from Cali they always wanted to go there. Don't miss it!
