I plan on taking a week or so off of work, and just seeing some of the country.. However I have no idea where Ill go what Ill do...
I just want to see other parts of the country and find a place I would love to go.. Plus I have always wanted to see mountains and living in south louisiana, there non existant..
I plan on going places like colorado utah nor cal, and oregon, and don't mind making it up as I go.. Are there any places you guys recommend I spend a little more time?
Like I said I mainly just want to see some of the country..
But Im also looking for a place where I want to live..
I want to live in a small friendly town, where it snows and there are at least some nearby mountains/hills.
Im also looking to follow the same career over there which may be hard, as I am currently a plant electrician.. Not sure if there are as many plants in other parts of the country or new construction like there is down here..
Anyways recomend me some places I HAVE to go... Remember Im from louisiana and hills/mountains are the most beautiful thing to me.. I have seen a few when visiting grandparents in conneticut but I was very young...
TELL ME WHERE TO GO.. |

+1 on Santa fe...if you head north west out of santa fe there is a beautiful national forest/park that was among the most incredible stretches of road i have ever been on.
Also if you make it to Utah, Zion national park is really breathtaking.
Enjoy! |

Enjoy! | I was going to suggest Zion as well. Maybe time your roadtrip with some bands that you want to see as well. |

-Mike | Yeah the best time to see the mountains here is June/July-Sept.
