Bingo. My family's business is mattresses (and to a lesser extent custom furniture and upholstery) and I built and delivered beds over summers when I was younger. One of those summers my uncle told me one of the only real truths he'd learned was that you spend a third of you r days working so you'd better like your job and you spend a third of your days sleeping so you'd better have a good bed.
To me beds are like tattoos in that it's not really a place where you want to try an save a few bucks by going cheap. It should last you 10 years or so which means even a $1000 difference is only $100 a year for something you'll use pretty much every night.
Just something to think about.
