Last I heard, the Indian authorities were investigating evidence that the terrorists might have Pakistani ties, and that the attacks were related to longstanding tensions between India and Pakistan that have all too often resulted in such attacks in this region of the world before - not necessarily al Qaeda. Is this not the case?
Notwithstanding the carnage, this is a time for cool heads to prevail while the Indian authorities continue their investigations, and the civilized world gathers its resolve against such barbarism in future. There will be opportunity enough for a response - when the time is right...
