YouTube - WESLEY WILLIS - "I WHUPPED BATMAN`S ASS"

NSFW, mild language.

Just another sorry sight where people would rather stand back and record it than diffuse the situation.

Though, I'm not entirely sure why there was a guy in a Batman costume there.

Meh... I really don't like to see this sort of thing.
Is there a back story to this? I'm wondering why this even happened.

I don't take any joy in the actual melee mind you, and we don't know exactly the events that led to this either. So for now I will take it for what it is. Hopefully you do not think less of me for it.

And someone DID break it up, about 13 seconds in when it started getting bad. It looks, at this point, that "Batman" couldn't take a heckle, and wasn't above using sexually profane language in public or around kids, so imo, he deserved the beatdown.

Nah, I'm not down on anyone for laughing at it or anything, it is kinda bizarre bein's that the guy's in a batman suit and all. I just dislike seeing people going at it like that, that's just me. Ima lover not a fighter

I was always raised to be the bigger man and walk away (yes, that isn't true for all situations, but certainly is in this one).

Plus it shouldn't have been allowed to get as far as it did. I've not seen attitudes like that since High School. At least when a fight breaks out in a bar or something, it's usually broken up before a punch is thrown. Either that or everyone piles in. Either way, none of this standing about nonsense

True story:
About 20 years ago I was on tour with a band on a cruise ship doing the Mexican Riviera [sic] circuit. On one of the few nights out of that seemingly endless three month tour where we actually got to spend an entire night on dry land, several bandmates & I got all liquored up in Acapulco and then instructed a cabbie to take us to the nastiest strip club in the whole city. He cheerfully obliged. This place was huge, it was like the Astrodome of strip clubs. Big main stage on an elevated platform in the center of a sea of equally drunk tourists & locals. Massive sea of humanity.

But I digress...

Anyway, at one point two enthusiastic female performers did a...um...routine on stage that they were clearly -- did I mention clearly? -- enjoying. We're talking obvious, overt, physiologically-verifiable enjoyment from both participants.

In short, they made a mess of the stage.

And as soon as they were done, this guy comes out wearing a full head-to-toe authentic SpiderMan costume...and proceeds to clean up the stage floor with a mop & a bucket of soapy water.

Hey, times are tough; a super-hero's gotta work. So perhaps that's what Batman was doing on the Vegas strip?

Hey that was no ordinary super hero. That was not Spiderman, that was the Green Lantern moonlighting as Spiderman while he recovers in rehab.

I was in Vegas last week. Found that Batman on the strip and was talking to him. Seemed like a good guy. He was less than pleased with his new found fame

Meh. It didn't need to get to that point. Still no one was hurt. I'm kind of with Relic. This just kind of makes me shake my head. Hats off to that bystander that tried to break it up though. He's the real hero here.

maybe people were reluctant to step in initially becaue they didn't want a shiv, or even a batarang to the lunchbox. Don't blame them in this sue-happy society.
