To those who enjoy international travel, where would you like to take your next trip ? I am hoping after graduation to have some R&R in Scotland.

Well, it'll be my first time outside the CONUS in my entire 19 years (aside from a night in Victoria ), but if all goes well, August is looking like Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

And then Ireland/Scotland/England/Paris with the family next spring!

Like every international trip my wife and I have taken, we will begin in Amsterdam and venture out from there. Ghent is awesome. Belgian beer is the best in the world. Paris is nice, but I am satisfied to spend just an afternoon there. Hamburg and Cologne are great. I have friends in the UK so our next trip will include England and Ireland.

I'm a diver, and my son just got certified. We spent a wonderful week earlier this month in the southern Yucatan diving. Next trip - Belize.
Trip after that, I hope - Indonesia, diving Truk lagoon.

I'd love to check out my ancestral homelands in the Netherlands (Paternal) or Ireland (Maternal). I'm not so sure they speak English in either of those places, so I may just go to Canada instead........

I don't know if what the speak in Ireland can be considered English.

Most people in The Netherlands speak it though.

my wife and I recently relocated ourselves from San Francisco to Prague/Czech Republic. One of the reasons was to be centrally located in Europe for a few years so we could see as much of it as we could without the hassle of the long flights from the US west coast.

In the 6 weeks we have been here, besides "czech"-ing out our new home city of Prague, we have been to Berlin and Munich.
I think the next place we will go is Vienna, and then Istanbul (business trip -extended over a weekend).

Next major trip will probably be to Greece or Southern Spain. We are already looking for somewhere warm, because, baby it's cold here in Prague !

If I had a month, time, and money I'd spend a month in south Asia, Thailand-Laos-Vietnam.

Edit: For a "tourist" kind of trip it'd probably be Luxembourg-Switzerland-Germany-Belgium.

My family has a tomb in Somerset, England that I'd love to check out. But, when I go, I plan on hitting the obvious spots on a short european tour: Dublin, London, Paris, and Dublin again, before my barstool gets cold.

I went to Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome as part of a trip in high school a few years back. My first stop would be Paris again. Being Canadian and able to speak French (not Quebec french), they loved me over there. I'd also want to venture out and visit the Maginot Line, and then perhaps Holland, Germany, and other places that were ravaged by WWII. I'd also love to visit eastern Europe and Russia. Wales, too.

My ancestors are from Somerset. It'd be nice if I could find some 16th century link to my last name there.

Northern Italy, Barbados, Trinidad, New Zealand, Oz, Costa Rica, Micronesia. Not all in the same trip though...

But maybe another planet would be nice. Say, California?

My wife has family in Costa Rica and we're lucky enough to be able to go there whenever we can. Can I now add that to my list? This NJ winter is getting waaay old

Ill be spending the last 8 months of this year doing some workaway and wwoof'ing throughout Europe. I have many friends to visit in the U.K, and family in Belgium as well. It looks like i'll be working in Italy and Spain this fall, with time in France and Holland during the summer. With the exception of my bass and a computer, i've sold everything i own so i can go...

Never been abroad but I want to visit England/UK, Germany (we'd likely have a place to stay), Venice, Machu Piccu, the Great Pyramids and Japan.
