Yep, I am actually starting a thread in OT.
Growing up in Indiana I have killed more than a few sacks of these little burgers. I just love them. Unfortunately I live in Arizona now and can only get my White Castle ( and Steak & Shake) fix once a year. I recently figured out a way to make the frozen ones to be as close to a fresh White Castle possible and I'm now getting my fix from my local grocery store.
So, who loves them? I know with most people it is a love them or hate them kind of thing so where do you fall in? ***Sorry, no carrots on a White Castle poll!***

There is one around the block from my apartment, constantly tempting me.
Allow me to get this obligatory reference out of the way.... |

I don't know how to vote.

Once I successfully followed the make-a-steam-tent-out-of-foil directions and had properly steamed the frozen ones, they were pretty darn good. I could see eating a bag full. My wife liked the fact that they weren't the usual 1/2 lb monstrosities I make. It was different, but I don't pine for them the way some people in other parts do.

It just didn't catch on here. I tried them a couple times and thought they were interesting but I could never really understand the passion that some people had for them.

I love 'em, always have, but as I've gotten older my fast food consumption has been so drastically reduced that I rarely partake of the WC goodness anymore ...
Not fond of the new hybrids (Jalepeno burger, Italian burger, etc), but the old stand-by sliders were still as good as ever (last time we had WC's was about 4 months ago) .... now you got me looking forward to more dietary violations ....
White Castle ... Love Them!!! |

My father, former east coast resident, tells me that part of the appeal is the onion-soup smell wafting towards the street on a cold day.

A quest was asking Hawkeye what time dinner would be served in the mess, to which Hawkeye replied, "Dinner is at 6,........... nausea at 7"

I've had Jack-in-the-Box that was way worse than White Castle. It isn't the worse fast food out there.
Unfortunately, no White Castles out here
But I agree with Phalex, Culvers is fast food win. |
