Had some nice veg-out time. A great way for me to recharge

I've to finish three large assignments up until Friday.
I've got band rehearsals for a big forthcoming gig every day of the week from tomorrow onwards.
And I'm wasting my time on TB.
I can safely say I'm stressed out

Time to set up some aluminum cans or another noise maker to wake me up when I stumble about the house |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Columbus, Ohio | | | I'm pretty stressed right now. I have a broken heel which doesn't allow me to work and make money (for 2 weeks now), my 1 year old daughter has a broken right wrist and broken right leg (2 separate incidences), my wife is having some kind of problem with her inner ear, and my son turns 3 in 2 weeks. Childrens Services came to visit our house to see why my daughter has had 2 broken bones in 1 month. It's been crazy here lately but we're hanging on. My wife broke down 2 days ago and bawled for like 2 hours straight. I really couldn't do anything but sit there and be there. Kind of sucks to have to pay the bills without being able to.

But stressing over it is counter productive. I'll just stay busy until things get better. |

But stressing over it is counter productive. I'll just stay busy until things get better. | I'm sort of in the same boat, except I have been a hermit for years now.
I have a full time, extremely demanding (physically and mentally) job and I'm trying to be a part time student. If I continue to be a student (it'll probably take another 8 years going at this rate) I'll have to get a full time night job in a totally different field and totally rearrange my entire life (and really be non existent to the outside world) because 80% of the classes I need to take are not available at night. So once I get to that point, I don't know what I'll do.
I'm wondering if I'm just wasting my time.
sometimes I just want to take a job making copies...

For a couple months, I'll be completely stress free and blissfully unaware of any possible negative thing. Then for afew months I'll constantly be on edge.
Right now I'm in the "on edge" period.

Doesn't everyone do this stuff?
However, I do have trouble finding time to restore my '58 Fiat Spyder. Maybe I can go on strike for a 30-hour day so I can have a bit more time to do stuff.
