But nobody thought Japan would get by the Germans or the Swedes. Their strength is their possession game. You can't score if you can't control the ball, and Japan has been great at maintaining a lot of possession time.
The U.S. has the height advantage, but so did Germany and Sweden. I'll have to watch a replay, because I won't be able to watch it live. I'd like to see the U.S. win, but if they don't, I'm glad that it would be to Japan. They have been through so much lately with the tsunami, etc.

Football, just what I heard on NPR yesterday.
