FLOPS! What's your opinion? I think the basketball guys may have an edge, but the soccer floppers are world renowned. Of course, thanks to refs in basketball, I regularly get the feeling that either I or they simply have no comprehension of the rules of the game. So, what are your thoughts?

probably soccer, they try to look hurt for a minute, basketball, they just fall on their A$$, whine, cry, and start fights because they have the mental ability of a gnat.

Having played both sports competitively, I'd have to say basketball has more fakers than soccer. I've faked and seen lots of fakes in basketball. Soccer is actually more dangerous than it looks. I haven't faked in soccer but I have been seriously hurt a few times.
So my vote is for basketball. I think some of the soccer falls that look like fakes aren't fakes. Basketball is a beyoch sport...sorry...it had to be said.

BTW, it's either football or futbol. Not futball.

I voted for basketball because soccer players are over actors, and try too hard to sell it.

I knew I should have just left it at soccer. Try and make everyone happy and still get crap for it.

I've played futbol a lot, especially with Brasilians so those fake falls normally aren't. Getting raked down the leg with cleats hurts a lot. Also thos futbol players do take beatings and still play I as watching a Brasilian Woman's International Futbol match and one player got nailed in the face with a ball, it broke her nose in 5 minutes she was back on the field with a brace for herself...

I have to disagree. I've played soccer almost my entire life at the premier level, and there's really no reason for 95% of the falls you see in professional soccer. People will get injured during a game, but rarely are those injuries serious or worth being awarded a foul for.

One of the main reasons why I'm such a huge fan of the Americans and Germans, in regards to soccer, is that they don't take dives. If they get hit and fall down they'll immediately pick themselves back up and continue with the play. They don't look for easy fouls and, quite frankly, they don't want them. They uphold the true spirit of the game. Unfortunately, most other nations don't play at that level (I'm looking at you, Spain).
