Who here watches "Justified"?

Sign in to disble this ad
Some months ago, I heard a radio ad for the FX series, and I recognized the voice featured. It was this guy from HBO's "Deadwood" [canceled too early I'll add]:

That's Timothy Olyphant, who played the Sheriff of Deadwood. Only the Al Swearengen character was more enjoyed by me. I decided to hit the internet and catch up on missed episodes. I like the show.

Before I ramble further, I'll just post the "Justified" wiki link. The program is set in modern times, so it's different from "Deadwood", but I've enjoyed it almost the same.

Fantastic series - best written and cast show on TV. Saw the season's finale tonight, and I look forward to next season. We DVR that series and there are some we missed, so we'll enjoy catching up.

Olyphant is perfect for that role. I actually like him better than I did in Deadwood.

Olyphant has a great pissed-off face.

I understand season 3 is coming, but...

Spoiler Below. Highlight to read.

I really enjoy Justified! Will have to see the finale tomorrow On Demand. Since this one is ending I hope Breaking Bad starts up again soon.

Interesting yes, he's more than a one sided character. Yet, even so, he always seems to revert to type. But that makes him more true to life. IMHO

I tried to get into the show but for some reason I just could stay interested in it. I gave it three episodes. I dumped it after that.

This pretty much sums it up. I've been hooked since the first episode.

Another show that has me hooked is "The Killing".

I'll put a huge +1 to justified being very well written and having an amazing cast

I very much liked boyd as a good guy, was disappointed when he went back to his old ways, but i'm really looking forward to seeing him develop further

Mags is an excellent villain, one of the best i've seen in a long time

Maki I think you should give it another shot.

I'm in this boat, but I really enjoy almost every show FX puts out, so I'll have to give Justified another go-around.

I've liked Timothy Olyphant in other things, so as corny as the previews originally seemed to me, I trust he does a good job in the show.

I picked it up this season on SuperChannel on Demand. Watched the first episode at 2 am after getting off the "kinda" night shift. Next thing I knew it was after 6 am and I had watched the first 6 episodes. I'm caught up now and will have to try to get the first season on dvd.

The name of the show creeps me out as it reminds me of Papa Justify.

It's the Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson. Maybe you were thinking of The Grudge?

I remember seeing The Skeleton Key in theaters with an ex a while back, and not to spoil it for anyone, but it was at the big climax in the attic at the very end, and all of a sudden, the movie reel burns up.

The movie wasn't great, but I was invested enough that it sure pissed me off! Thought it was part of the movie at first haha. It actually took me a few years to catch the end on tv and get some closure.

Kate Hudson as mentioned above. Set in the New Orleans area. Since I am a fan of that area, I liked the movie for that reason too.

Ah, I mixed it up with 'The Return' I think it was called.

I had seen Skeleton Key as well.

Didnt care particularly much for either one, myself.
