Who needs handguns when you can shoot machetes

YouTube - Shooting Machetes with the Slingshot

I wonder what kind of thought process brought about this as being a good idea?

Imagine an entire war being waged with that single weapon.

That's about as good of an idea as rocket-powered chainsaws...and by good I mean THE BEST.

He sounded like some sort of assassin or something when he was talking about how simple the firing mechanism was... I don't think I would want to anger that man...

I would like to see him shoot it at something more robust than a cardboard box, at a distance of more than two yards.

Freakin' ridiculous concept, though.

I, personally, prefer a weapon whose projectiles cannot be deflected by a garbage can lid.

sweet idea, very nicely built mechanism, super dangerous....but the actual shot was a bit of a let down. For the effort and danger issues, i want a little more excitement with the result.

+1

Maybe use the old Exploding Bats idea from World War 2 in the porcupines as well...

Pfft, The squirrel catapult can do that, so long as you can pick up a porcupine.

You wouldn't have to - they would be held in a giant 10 round drum mag and loaded automatically. Then when they hit their target they stick fast and hilarity ensues.

Hey, people laughed at Einstien!!

well, yeah it was at his hair but still.

Can the hedgehogs be interchanged with Honey Badgers? If yes, I will begin working on a patent.

You could make a bunker buster version out of it.. A few cages of pissed off Honey Badgers into those Afghanistan caves and see the Taliban recruitment rates drop dramatically

I might have found it interesting at 15, a thing that fires machetes, but later on, no.....it's a strange interest, wouldn't he like stamp collecting instead? It's very therapeutic so I'm told.

Actually this guy makes custom slingshots that can put steel ball bearings through helmet faceplates... Check out his other videos. It helps that he's a huge guy.
