Who is a stamp collector?

Well, I am for starters. US and non-US, covers, FDCs, plate blocks, some sheets etc.
Got some nice Confederate States of America stamps too! Some covers, unused and used.

I have a small collection at my mom's, from my teens.

If you are really into stamps, I can mail all of them to you, just shoot a PM.

It gets you back into a nightclub if you leave for a while.

Well, in Australia you are probably correct as stamps are unknown in all the territories. But most everyone else has advanced from using a cleft stick to send messages.:D

Nice!

Hopefully I can selvage some respect out of this thread if reading it is not too much of a pane and it is taken seriously.:p

MEKer: If so, how are these people getting away with collecting severed hands? Isn't that illegal?

Nope. It is voluntary. You give the band a hand before you leave if you like them. It is stamped and you get what's called a "stump-duplicate" (like a claim check thing). Match up and bingo---you are back in. Can only do it twice a night though.

Philately puns, label me impressed. Wait, this is not the boring thread isn't it :ninja:

No. Not unless it gets gummed up by off-topic stuff. It that happens and this thread is derailed I will positively become UNHINGED!

But so far it appears to be in very fine condition.
..........ahem
