I'd pick Kirk. Just seems cooler.

To me Kirk made it up as he went along and was a chancer, mr Spock kept him in check. Who dares wins.
Picard was methodical he studied historical leaders and tacticians.
I would have had more confidence in Picards rational decisions but work would have been more fun with kirk, unless you were a crew member on a mission with kirk n Spock ( guaranteed going home in a box ).
I would pick Picard.. Better chance of living..
Oh and I could make up some good **** in the hollow deck..

Kirk is too much drama to be in a position of authority. Of the two I would choose Picard.

True this, but when faced to choose between potential bootyknockin fun over being endlessly quoted the Prime Directive, (when in such a Utopian Society as the Federation, every other "primal drive"... be it monetary wealth or corporate stature has been rendered obsolete) it's a no-brainer. ;)

It's either Kirk, or sippin Romulan Ale option C thing...simply safely existing with your only fun being playing cards with Data and Warf? Pass.

Maybe you guys are more of the corporate go-getter type than me, but percentage-wise my odds of making the main deck are limited. There's only a few people out of thousands onboard between red shirt refillings that make the credits. I'll take the sensible boring one and trust I'll be alive on weekends to enjoy my own leave.

Gee, you almost had me following Kirk with this one, 'til I remembered that they were pretty much Kirk's babes - Rand especially. Uhura always played like she wasn't into it - even when she was "forced" to kiss Kirk in that one episode, but yea, I'd probably just end up on Planet Sulu at some point. My shatty luck - oh my. :scowl:

On the other hand, with Picard I'd prolly only suffer a flesh wound and then go see Dr Crusher to get treated....:D

Sides, I've worked for a few "CPT Kirks" already and I'm done riding on that train wreck.
