I'm not looking for this to get political . . . I just thought with all of these other polls you see on the news, we should have a TB poll, and see if we end up mirroring the actual outcome.
Just choose one of the choices (I don't even want to know who you chose, I guess the only one who will really know anything is the second person who responds, and will see my vote.)
I guess this should really only apply to the US members of the board. If you are from outside the US, and want to reply (and not fill in the poll) and say who you like, go for it.
Mods: If this is inappropriate, go ahead and take it down. I just thought it would be interesting. |

When I was in Iowa last month, practically every time I met someone new, it seemed like everybody's first question to me was "Who're you voting for?"
I assume that was because it's such a battleground state, I guess it's probably the same for Ohio/Florida/etc.
Around here it hasn't been discussed as highly as when I was in Iowa, but the fight for local offices and for u.s. representative has had more dialog than usual, it seems.
I'll vote in the thread if the mods decide it doesn't need to be nuked.

"I think the puppet on the left shares my beliefs."
"Well, I think the puppet on the right is more to my liking"
And then a third party will come in with
"Wait a minute, there's one hand holding up both puppets!"
just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. |

lol, a who are you voting for thread not getting political????
That said, I understand the no politics rule, but on the other hand something this big (us elections) imo should have a little corner in the lounge or something to be able to discuss it. But, what do I know.
