Yes, yes, it could be like MW2, but with alot of upgrades.
I personally am excited about it. There is a perk/class to combat virtually everything. Lots of options.
I'm really hoping they did it right.

I've been following alot of the changes, and the game so far and have been impressed. There are still tubes in a few options, BUT there is a real Flak Jacket perk, that will make the tubes less important. No more stupid blast shield.

| I always enjoyed the riot shield. I found it quite effective. Of course, I'm the same guy that uses the SMG/tac knife/lightweight/infinite sprint combo to stab you in the back. |

But yeah, MW:3 looks promising. Give me MW:2 with split screen online multiplayer and new shiny things and i'll be pretty content. I'm not expecting anything revolutionary to be honest, however I would be very happy to be surprised.
Riot shield certainly made for some good custom game mode opportunities.

I really liked the team tac and barebones options the most so hopefully those will still be around. I wouldn't mind seeing something similar to the wager matches in black ops included, that could be cool. Anyway, I'll be picking it up with my fingers crossed hoping it doesn't suck. After playing the battlefield beta I might finally be jumping ship though.

| | | | MW3 is just the same shooter as BO and MW2. Infinity ward and Treyarch have been able to release the same exact shooters 3 years in a row and people still buy into it. Theres nothing new to it except the storyline, same gameplay, same campain, ehhhh. go Battlefield 3!

Ninja REDUCES the sound made by your feet, Sit Rep amplifies it. On Sitrep with someone not using ninja, the sound is even louder.
I've been following pretty much every detail so far - there seems to be a perk to combat everything you hated.
One of the things I'm mad about though is that they brought back quickscoping.

As far as multiplayer goes, I'm not expecting anything too different, however I do like the new perk system.
And I've been drinking Mountain Dew for Double XP.
And the Prestige Tokens sound like a great idea too. I like that I get credit for going Prestige in MW2 and BO.
