Who's got a blackberry?

So I connected it to my computer, loaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager, and it said I need to update. SO I said okay.

fast forward 5 minutes and it comes up with a "fatal error" and now, my phone doesn't start up. It comes up with a white screen.
It's an Error 507 which means my operation system doesn't exist.

I've tried everything, and now the Desktop Manager isn't finding my phone when i connect it to the computer!!

Arrggghhhh!!!!

It's a blackberry 8100 and I'm with Telus. I'm going to the Telus store tomorrow after work to see if they can fix it.

Take it to the store. It would seem that it failed updating the firmware which means it's shot. Maybe they can reflash it for you but there's nothing productive and condoned by your warranty left for you to do.

so, i went to the telus store and they have NEVER seen anything like this.
So to avoid any complications, they're ordering me a replacement.
