yeah, those little niche subcultures that spark creativity instead of crime should be obliterated...

Seriously tho, as lame as that might look to you could look like limitless potential to the right builder, it's well on its way. I expect to see that in Lowrider Magazine in 6 months.

That "truck" is a product of the people of this state.

I don't get the "remove CA" reference. You must be some kind of a Madman. Oh, wait.....

Anyway. Lots of work left to do on that one. Maybe he should have waited on dropping big bucks on the bling rims and tires and got the thing running first. IMO, of course.

Needs to chop the top.

lol @ bagged.

I dunno man, that body looks straight, at least the cab does...spray it up, murder it out even, and wire it...thing should roll sweet. Needs a hard tonneau. and some old school pinstripes. all over it. no damn flames.

It's a product of a person who happens to live in our state. Believe it or not, there's people like that in EVERY state.... I bet some of em might even play the bass. God help us all.....lol

well, you know, "another mans garbage is another man's treasure." Yup, I bet it's so wonderful, with it's rusty, paint deprived back, and it's regular, average, ugly front. Oh, and the internal is TO DIE FOR!

Well, good to see their priorities are in order. Let me guess, this family also has a big screen TV but no college fund for the kids.

I have a soft spot for Lowriders. He gets a pass from me, even if the actual truck is kinda sad.

In that case, Talkbass needs to drop from the face of the earth because this thread is a "product of the people of this" forum.

Hi.

Not necessarily my thing, but I'd guess quite a bit time, money and even skill has gone into that truck.

I bet the majority of posters here haven't done that much body or engine work. It's someones hobby. That's a product of that said hobby and I respect that.

Regards
Sam

The car culture people are as serious about what they do as you are about playing bass. Maybe more so. There are many car magazines, websites, blogs, etc that delve into every part of owning, fixing, modifying, customizing etc. Probably more people into cars that bass playing.

Put an interior in the truck with a nice graphics paint job and you might have a show winner and a cool cruzin' machine.

I was basically too lazy to come up with a creative title. But I didnt want another of the other 1000 "lookie at this here CL ad" ones.
I think the car looks ridiculous
and I think California can be an infuriating place sometimes. Not out to insult anybody or any place, thing, ideal.

That isn't that bad at all, just unfinished.

What I'm not understanding is this..

Then their is the massive fascination with intentionally junky looking cars in the name of boro that many drifters(or posers..?) got into..
