I'm talking about some queen fans defending BF for throwing yet another ill fated INT in last years playoff game, saying it wasn't his fault. |

Isn't that where "fan" comes from, fanatic? Meaning supporting something through the bad decisions and ill-fated passes in hopes they win it all and can say "told ya so" to the world?

Fact.
But y'all keep looking at the yards allowed stats that say they were only ranked 25th overall, the ones that IGNORE all the other stuff like oh...turnovers...and points scored by a defense...and 3 & outs...and redzone scoring allowed...yup, that yards per game stat, that's the only one that matters, mmhmm...the fact that all those yards were given up playing from a large lead in every game, and they were just letting the other offense dink and dunk down the field and eat time off the clock, that don't matter one bit, no it don't...
...betcha Brent FAR-VUH don't think they have a weak D...and if he does, they'll be happy to remind him of how mistaken that line of thinking will be on 9.9.10...

Its the new fad... Kinda like hating on Bonds, only without the breaking of a federal drug possession law.

He is the one throwing the ball to the other team, with no one to blame but ol number 4 himself. But in all fairness I have to ad he IS exciting to watch throw a pick every year to end his teams season, lol. |

I watched the Seahawk game. He is just fun to watch play. Favre is the new Timex....he takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Maybe he'll go down for good this season, but I really doubt it. New Orleans threw the kitchen sink at him, and here he is back for more. No doubt greatly inspired by trying again to beat the team who slaughtered him in the NFCCG. It would have been too easy for him to hang it up and walk away, knowing especially what awaits him on September 9th in the DOME.
Hate him all you want, make fun of all the INTs (but please spare me a slew of regurgitated Favre YouTube bad play videos), but the man has started more consecutive games than any other QB. In this day and age of 320 pound plus lineman smashing QBs into the turf every Sunday, that is his most impressive stat to me.

Evidently there are some folks who enjoy re-living the past. Unfortunately for them, many of them will be further frustrated when the Vikes beat their team this year. Then they can hate Favre even more.
Personally, I think it's envy. The guy is over 40 and can still get it done. People envy successful athletes just as much as they envy rich people, and in many people, that envy exhibits itself as hate. If the rich guy isn't you, or the successful athlete isn't on your team (or left your team) then you run him down.
Face it, he's still one of the best QBs in the game. Picks happen, and he's far from the first QB to lose a playoff game with a turnover.
