Why does my Sharpie Marker say . . .

Sign in to disble this ad
. . . "not for letter writing" on it? I mean, who are they to tell me what to do with MY marker? I bought it. Go look at your standard Sharpie. It's there!

Yeah Mitch Hedberg did this bit before. You can only use it to write numbers apparently.

Man, I'm a Hedberg fan, and I missed that one. I was in my office on the phone, and I picked up a Sharpie and started playing with it, and noticed that. I'll have to look for Hedbergs bit on it. That guy was great!

It's true I tried. I tricked it though. I tagged a bathroom wall with it. I drew a zebra.

Sharpies lie? Or a case of someone writing on a Sharpie?

I'm completely disillusioned. Back to Bic.

My brother has one of those lab pens that are PERMANENT. Only acetone will take it off, with a whole lot of soaking and elbow grease to get it off.

Cuz if you write a letter with a Sharpie, it'll soak through the first sheet and ruin the second sheet.
