It's intelligent most of the time and hilarious all the time . Not a lot of smart comedy over here outside of a handful of stand-up comics.

Also epic.

Some other ones worth checking out if you are into the 'quiz' style shows like that:
-Never Mind the Buzzcocks
-Mock the Week
-Qi

Of course, it goes without saying, the Canadian (Colin Mochrie) was the funniest of the bunch.

If we ever have another show like this Stateside, PLEASE keep Wayne Brady the hell away from it. My God was he the folly of Whose Line.

That linked clip was hilarious. Thanks for that!

Wayne was good at the singing bits, though.

I always thought WB was funny, but in the non-singing stuff.

That singing stuff was incredibly boring and I'd fast-forward through those bits. The infomercial parts where Colin and Ryan were talking were hilarious, though.

That is exactly why I disliked him. That stuff was so NOT off-the-cuff improv it was ridiculous. I hated that.

Also those non-permanent comedians on Whose Line (like Brad, Greg, Chip, and Jeff) were pretty funny most of the time! Especially Greg whenever they played World's Worst Dating Service (Hats)

They are on season 3, so, I don't think that's the reason

It *was* improv (notice the amount of times he'd sing "Oh, you know..." "And it's true that..." "And you are..." in an attempt to get a few secs to think of something), but I'm not amused by singing stuff unless it's sarcastic (Flight Of The Concordes).

Also, going back to Whose Line, next Friday I'll be seeing Paul Merton's Impro chums, featuring Josie Lawrence, Mike McShane and Richard Vranch
