Why Don't I Have A Speeder-Bike?

Sign in to disble this ad
I want one, and feel cheated that our top minds haven't been devoted to designing them for the masses.

Scout trooper uniform is a bonus, but I'll accept just the speeder bike for the time being.

Thanks in advance.

I like to imagine that hybrid speeder bikes would be a superior form of ground transportation to the petroleum dependent cars we currently use.

Yes, they were. they were pulled by horses.

And I must agree with the OP on this one. No more interstate traffic. EVER. And the police couldn't catch me, unless they hired a bunch of ewoks.

I'll say it again. Sun Crusher: lamest looking Star Wars ship, ever.

For my Republic Credits, it's an A-Wing, every time.

OR, for my oppression-era tech dollar, a TIE Interceptor.
Twin
Ion Engines
baby.

Yes it looks like an icing bag but at least you'd be safe!

Going just for looks I'd either go for an Eclipse super star destroyer:

Or the TIE Experimental M3 Fighter:

Or maybe the Sith Infiltrator:

Wait, they have experimental fighters in a made up world? If the world is made up, why not just skip the R&D phase and go straight to production with a working unit?

There are numerous books, games and comics aside from the films, so it was probably an experimental fighter that was being tested in some mission in one of them to try and make it more realistic.
