Some interesting info, but quite poorly written and organized. The article needs the skills of a decent editor.

However, remember than Yves speaks French, English is not his first language. Therefor, I withold comment on the way it's written. However, what he actually says in it is very valid and interesting.

I think Bebop was laying the blame on whoever is in charge of editing over there at bass musician magazine. The fact that the writer's using a second language intensifies the responsibility of editing.

I agree with bebop that its a poorly written article, but not for any language reasons. It's just organizationally awkward, not efficient. Editing isn't proofreading, it's about helping writers figure out how to say what they're thinking most effectively. Carbonne was let down in that department.

In the end, though, it was an interesting article. I read it, and I guess that means they're getting something right!
