Absolutely. I just wish the government would realize that "gun control" means hitting the target, and restricting gun ownership only promotes crime.

I know that listenting to Foghat (loud and distorted) in a loop while waiting in line to ride can make you crazy. This seems like an organized event.

What the government HAS realized about gun control is that when we can no longer shoot at them they can do whatever they want. Screwing unarmed citizens is much safer than pissing off people with guns.

Isn't that the truth! In fact, the one thing that every dictator (from Hitler to Mussolini to Pol Pot to Clinton to Obama) has had in common has been dis-arming the populace.

A few quotes to show how the framers of the Constitution felt about guns:

‘‘The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able may have a gun.’’
— Patrick Henry

‘‘Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.’’
— Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

‘‘Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? ... If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?’’
— Patrick Henry

‘‘I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials.’’
‘‘To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.’’
— George Mason

An amazing quote from a pacifist:
‘‘Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest.’’
— Mahatma Ghandi, "Gandhi, An Autobiography", page 446

How do the oppressors feel?
‘‘Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA - ordinary citizens don't need guns, as their having guns doesn't serve the State.’’
— Heinrich Himmler

‘‘The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subjected peoples to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the underdog is a sine qua non ["something essential" lit. "without which not"] for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or police.’’
-- Adolph Hitler, Edict of March 18, 1938

‘‘We cannot be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans.’’
— B.J.Clinton, USA Today, 3/11/93 page 2A

Now that I've lost a bunch of weight, I can carry IWB again. For a long time, with my Florida attire, I was limited to my mouse gun (Rohrbaugh R9) now I can carry and conceal bigger/more rounds. I see things everyday in the local news that makes me wonder what the world is coming to I'm not giving up or going down easy. **** them

Last week this idiot killed a girl for no reason what so ever, then bragged about it. What happened to the concept of having a concience?? I SLUMPED somebody

That might make sense if your country didn't have such a high crime rate.

I think Canadian's own percentage wise as many guns as Americans. It has a large hunting population. However Canadian media is not as violent as American. I think that makes a difference.

Has little to do with legally purchased firearms and/or conceal and carry. It's much more complex than this and has so many problems and roots of problems that I honestly don't think there are solutions.

Any fair in the Great Plains or Midwest is going to have some drunken rioting and plenty of firearms already. There's just not a whole hell of a lot else to do.

I love fair season.

I would ask the mods to do their job at this point. This is an exclusively political arguement and they are verboten.

Or I could return fire.... pun clearly intended.

I usually don't follow gun control laws to closely. I didn't know our president signed any legislation curtailing gun rights. Can you provide any info on what laws have been enacted since he took office taking guns away from the people?

Is that why England has such a high crime rate and deaths by firearm every year?
