I would suggest a law which would require the population of Guam to never congregate at any one particular spot. That should solve things.

Maybe we could add ballast? That would also help reduce the chances of capsizing.

[Looks at current date]
Yes, yes, I'm seeing potential here...

[Looks at date of video]
Holy crap. He actually said that for real.

[Looks for explanation]
OK, that was a really poor use of a metaphor. Still makes for a funny video.

I don't see evidence this was a metaphor for anything? For global warming? For environmentalism?

Okay maybe that's what is was.

That was freaking awesome . I can only imagine what the Admiral was thinking .

But seriously, Guam is beautiful with a lot of fun outdoor activities to do. My best friend's (from childhood) family now lives on Guam and they love it. His dad works at the exchange on the island. Theyre always sending me pictures of them diving, hiking, sailing, etc.

Wow, that's dumb! And yet, on election day, a majority of people thought this guy was the best choice on the ballot.

It's actually liver disease that has ravaged the guy. Hepatitis IIRC.

He's been ravaged by Hepatitis C. His brain is gone.

This is really undignified and it's a shame that his friends don't get him to retire.

Yeah, he's got some medical issues but he's the guy that replaced Cynthia McKinney so it's not like he's the nuttiest person elected from that district.

It is pretty sad though.

We have "Islands" on our Florida lakes that will do that. They look like an island, then you pull your boat up and step out and.....WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!

Put 25,000 people on an island that supports 180,000 and it will metaphorically capsize under too much load. That's the point he is claiming he tried to make. Whether or not he knew he was making a metaphor or actually thought an island could capsize, I'll leave that to the wisdom of TB. I'm not a fan of the guy, but I'd like to think he's not that cuckoo.

Due to the fact that the drugs he had to take for Hepatitus C affected his brain, I really don't think it's fair to ridicule him.

OK I apologize, I didn't know he had a medical issue. Hepatitis is no joke and is really really tough to deal with. That said, if I was in that state I would hope someone would tell me to take a hiatus...
