Walk into any appliance or office supply store that sells electronics. Everything has a grouping of random numbers and letters after the name of the product.
"Toshiba's HD-A30 HD "
"Panasonic - 58" 1080p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV"
"Canon Digital Rebel XTI"
"Epson 4990 Photo scanner"
"Ford Mustang GT"
"Dell - XPS M1330 Laptop"
You get the point. Does adding random numbers and letters really make a product that much cooler sounding? Is this all marketing people can come up with? I should get a job in marketing.
Buy a new pack of XMI 3300 Wooden Pencils! Wow. |

Buy a new pack of XMI 3300 Wooden Pencils! Wow. | Dude, the 3300s are SOO obsolete now! Everyone's using the 3407s. Get with the times, slacker!

I guess you need those codes to differentiate from different revisions made to the same basic product (printers, dvd players, cameras, etc.). |

Turns out that some of the chemicals that were in use in the lab gives you two extra chromosomes, and messes with your inner ear, rendering you unable to walk a straight line.

Wouda thought that would be obvious what with you and yer fancy cameras....
Lessee...if these are real model numbers...then
"Toshiba's HD-A30 HD "
= toshiba High Definition A-30 gig Hard Drive
"Panasonic - 58" 1080p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV"
=Panasonic 58" diagonal 1080 Progressive Scan (vs. I for interlaced)
"Canon Digital Rebel XTI"
Not sure, but I bet it's better than an XT
"Epson 4990 Photo scanner"
4900 series, 90 revision I'm sure
"Ford Mustang GT"
Ford Mustang Grand Tourer
"Dell - XPS M1330 Laptop"
like the Epson
they're not random numbers, they're numerical designations....am I talking out my ass? I dunno

marauder 3500 - where did that number come from?
Or even the GT450. no brand name, just the GT450. *** |

But I like the vintage 5Z32 AD II's. The ZX IV series goes up to 11 but the XZX VI series can go up to 11.4 yet they can't get the same consitency as the ZX III's or the XZX V's. I'm not into the VVTBC's from VXV. VXV did have some nice pencils a couple of years ago... 7563214's and the ZZY7563214's. Good for the times but so obsolete now. Especially compared to the HD6789ZZGD. I'm into the TuZZ76BRzS series from their sister company, XVX. XVX is where it is at really. The 768BB5's are ace. Did you see the specs on the 656Z's? Wow! I think the stuff from QSW is overpriced. A lot of people like the 7897YYY series but I don't. Way too much. The 5670iR's are probably the best in the market but so expensive. Best bang for the buck is the 678678678 Triple Deluxe Quasimoto's. Anybody like the GHi's from them? I like the 5rT234805's.
And what about BiNary? The 100101010101010010101 series is just perfect! Everybody is into the 101010100010110100010101 series though. Or the vintage 01010101's. Lol! If they want to get vintage mine as well get the 1101's. Ha! I can't wait until they come out with the 0101010101010010111010101010101011101's. They are going to release a concept series soon called the 00111011010101010101110111011101101101101110111011 101101101's. Well for the project anyways. The real series will either be called 01101111011101010001010101010101010101011011011001 010101101101110101011010110 or the 01010101010010110111011110101010001110 to get the point across to the customer I think.

Ford Mustang Grand Tourer | The HD-A30 HD is an HD-DVD player, not a hard drive. That product name is a little awkward. The first HD is the series of DVD players, and the HD at the end is for 'High Definition.'
And GT stands for Gran Turismo
