I agree.

People are just plain inconsiderate anymore.

I even catching myself using my turn signal on curves, I am trying to find a disorder related to my obsession.

almost got smoked by a car who didn't have their blinker on... those people need to have their licences stripped. Follow the rules.

Answer: I'm making up for the people who leave their blinkers on for 25 miles at a stretch.

Yeah, it cheeses me off too. Seriously, is it THAT HARD to use for some people? Some just can't be bothered while they have their cellphone in the crook of their neck / shoulder while holding a chalupa in their hand and navigating the stereo while steering with their knee.... the fact they are in command of a 2000+ pound vehicle is just LOST on some people...nevermind remembering their turn signal

In the South SF Bay Area where I learned to drive, using your blinker just told people where you are going so they could block you from changing lanes, savages I tell you...........

I had to relearn to use them when I moved out here.

Yeah One trip north to south on 110 would burn down most outlanders. But I run the Mother Road The LIE! today's special was a sand trailer loaded with wet gravel pour rocks and sandy water all over 2 lanes westbound! between exits 68 and 60! Mayhem ensued.

Usually when I see someone failing to use their turn signal, it's because they're on the cell phone. I guess it's too much effort to momentarily remove the phone from their left ear.

I was a cellphone in the car holdout, would'nt didn't couldn't. I tried after while to see what control i could maintain and was surprised, it was like switching my bass from right hand to left and attempting fills. It felt like day one! I've been driving legally for 40 years and I think I can control a vehicle. I worry for my family when I see some of these flakes juggling an Expedition and a Razer.....should we be allowed to continue as a species?

+1

In heavy traffic, using a blinker actually decreases your chances of changing lanes.

But any other time, for instance on two lane roads with a 55mph speed limit and someone is behind you - it's common courtesy to let them know you're making a turn when you're slowing down from 60 to 25.

I've got a manual trans, so cell phone in the car is a no go for me. Except I'll pick up my phone while I'm not driving, and hang up after saying I was.

And the reason people do not use their blinkers? 75% of cars these days come optional with blinker fluid.

What gets me even more is when people think they can make a left hand turn at 40 MPH from the far right lane without a blinker or breaking and don't seem to notice you in their way.

The unicorn blood used to make that stuff is just getting too damn expensive.
