But she's ok, which is the important thing. I was going to have to fix the heater which would involve removing the entire dash, so I'm not all that sad about seeing it go. It was a nice car, though. a 2000 Mercury Sable LS with leather and a sunroof. Ah well...

I'm glad she's ok. Who was at fault?

A Toyota Avalon came out of a gorcery store parking lot trying to cross the street my wife was traveling down. It hit her front left side.

I'm glad the other people had insurance, too. I've had a situation where someone didn't and they gave me bogus info. That really pissed me off.

Totaling a car sucks. I rolled my car a few months ago and I was at fault. I didn't claim, and it is still putting my insurance up by about $100 a month.

The person who hit her was an older lady, and she was really apologetic about it. The CRAZY thing is my wife's car got knocked off of the road, and she went in between a stop sign and a fire extinguisher that was BARELY far enough apart to fit the car through, and she took off the right mirror. She stopped in a parking lot IN a parking spot! I thought she pulled the car in there, but it landed there and that was it! It was right next to another car, too. It was absolutely uncanny!
