For about a week. Any good shows coming up? None of my favorite bands are playing there for that week.
I was wondering what you guys would suggest (if you're going to a show that week as well?)
I'm going to be stuck there for a week with my family so I gotta find something to do. Suggest other things to do as well.
Thanks |

| | As a matter of fact....I am your Queen! Endorsing Artist Mike Lull T Bass pickups | | Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Seattle Washington | | | When you get into town just pick up a copy of "The Stranger" it's the local alt publication with most of Seattle's many venues listed.......The music scene here is very good, you'll never run out of places to go. That said, Seattle and Washington State in July are incredibly beautiful, visit the Olympic peninsula - the scenery is breathtaking.
And don't forget a visit to BassNW to chat with Evan and the guys.

Go to BassNW of course. Don't go to the EMP...that place is dumb.
EDIT: Wait there is a Science Fiction HOF at the EMP now??? |

The area down by the airport is still considered Seattle, but 20 minutes from downtown by car. Up by UW is considered Seattle, but also a good car ride from downtown.
The Mariners will be in town for a few of the days you are here. If you like baseball, catch a game. The stadium is beautiful and has some killer views of the city and Puget Sound, not to mention awesome garlic fries.
You could also takle a ferry ride over to Bremerton, that would be fun. Or up to the San Juans Islands.

When you get off the ferry, you're a half mile from Bass NW.

Yes...it's a welcoming store.
They have a wide selection of boutique and high basses and amps as well as starter stuff as well. I've been there and they treated me like a brother. I don't remember if they have an FX department. |

You're always #1 there, you'll like it.
If you're staying in Bremerton I'd suggest traveling out on the Olympic Peninsula, even a day trip is totally worth it here are a couple pics from a recent road trip I made out there with my band. Make it a point to get and see the country here, it's beautiful.
