Has anyone tried it yet? I went through hours of partitioning and installation only to have it crash after half an hour. It was a very nice half hour though. Everything installed itself basically, the graphics were smooth and things loaded very quickly. I thought it was perfect until the unexpected blue screen.

Theres even updates for it, but just check driver compstibility first.

500 gb HD, but put 28 gigs partitioned for win7, I'm using the rest for XP still
That's all I really know about my comp, not much. It also did some automatic updates after I installed it but it crashed after that. I didn't expect it to work perfectly but I was just using firefox and trillian and it just died literally out of the blue. I wasn't installing anything or doing anything specific.

It's not a whole new OS compared to Vista, but it is faster an smoother than Vista, by now. I see it more as a extencive service pack than a new OS. So far I have not had any trouble with the beta, no crash, and all Vista drivers seems to be working nice.
Armueller2001: If you have two partitions with two different OS, you will be able to choose between the two OS at startup.

Didn't recognize the old WLAN card on one of them, but the rest were effortless. Very snappy response, and every application I've tried works flawlessly. UAC is much less intrusive.
Internet Explorer 8 is OK, but there are some glitches with rendering.
Fast user switching doesn't work well on the 64-bit machine; the display goes blank. Don't know about the 32-bit machines yet.
I can't see myself going back to Vista anytime soon unless some really big incompatibility surfaces.

Found out something fun today, have some programs open, select one window, shake it around a bit and all the other applications minimize themselves! Sweet!

Drag one window to the left and another one to the right...
I like it. I have a 24" wide screen monitor and I find this feature very useful.
I've been using 7 for a little...since it was available for the beta testers and I have many bugs on my version. I might reinstall today or tomorrow.
