Every person that doesn't use windows is 1 more person that will not be using a copy of IE that they haven't updated in 5 years that renders web pages like its 1999...as a web developer this news puts a smile on my face.

Shouldnt Windows users then just update their version of IE?

Mine could probably use an update, but I have no problems with it, so I won't.

I don't know any Windows users who still use IE anyway

My sister does, and she is always complaining about having a bunch of viruses. I keep telling her that there is a direct correlation, but she just wont switch. I like how the iPhone OS has almost as much of a market share as Linux.

I'm doing my part. Last night I downloaded and installed Ubuntu Linux on my machine. I made sure to make it a dual boot with WinXP so I could still use my Windows programs and also ensure that I didn't lose my internet connection should something go wrong. I needn't have worried. The install pretty much took care of itself and it automatically configured my network and all I had to do was click on Firefox and here I am.

The weird thing is that now when I choose to boot into WinXP, I get the Windows splash screen for about two seconds, followed by the Blue Screen Of Death for about a half a second and then the computer reboots. I guess I'm not using Windows anymore.
