Anyone have any experience with these? I listen to audiobooks while driving/exercising/doing chores/etc and would love to lose the hanging cables.

I"ve seen only one option that seems viable, but that is $500 bucks!!!!!

Sennheiser MX W1 Wireless Stereo Earbuds MX W1 B&H Photo Video

Basically the idea is that you plug in a receiver device to your .mp3 siganal which broadcasts the signal to your earbuds. Cool idea, but wondering if anyone has dove into this design for LESS than $500 bucks.

They look like expensive hearing aids.

Thread the wires through your clothing. They will be nicely out of your way.

I've done that many times, but still find the cord to be in the way.

those look cool but I'm not sure about the rectangular device sitting on the back of my head. Here's another one I found:

Plantronics makes good quality stuff, can't vouch for that particular item, but we use their wireless headsets all the time and have no issues with them at all.

You can get bluetooth earbuds under $50 and use them on any audio device with a 3.5mm audio port with the use of a bluetooth transmitter adapter.
