Wireless modem issue

My wireless modem has been acting up since yesterday, first it wouldn't broadcast it's SSID, couldn't connect my htc phone or my laptop or my friend's, I changed the SSID to a different name, the passphrase and security from WEP to WPA (that might be my problem now) now it is broadcasting, I'm able to use my phone flawlessly but the laptop computer gets the signal and it will open certain pages such as youtube.... But it won't play any videos, or if I do a search on google, it won't open any of the links.

Hit the factory reset button, power cycle it and try again....You may have to download the .PDF if you did not save your hard copy manual and you don't know how to reset the modem to factory preset.

On the wireless properties I'm getting a "IPv6 no network access"
But why am I able to go online and open certain websites?

Because IPv6 is the new IP addressing convention that no one is really using yet. It will supersede the current system when we run out of IPv4 addresses. Your Wireless Access Point may be to old to even be compatible with it...
