+1. My first thought is that she might have a legitimate claim assuming the statute of limitations has not expired (or whatever the equivalent is in AU). The doctor did not honor the request of the mother and it resulted in damage to the daughter. Of course the doctor might have a good reason for not performing the c-section, but when has that ever stopped a good lawsuit?
