Sound to me like a legistalor trying to tack an extreme, ridiculous law change onto another bill so that the bill will certainly fail. At least, in my heart of hearts, I hope it is.

If the link posted above is the actual bill everyone's talking about, then I don't see where it says people with miscarriages will be put to death. It even clearly states...

(2) 'Prenatal murder' means the intentional removal of a fetus from a woman with an

Unless of course, someone wants to argue that the woman may have accidentally eaten something or tripped and fallen and somehow caused damage that kills the baby.

Misleading or not.. a bill to criminalize miscarriages is foolish and barbaric. Miscarriages have been going on since reproduction....

The bill doesn't do that, at all. Did you read the link given? It's basically an Anti-Abortion bill - which has it's own sets of talking points that I don't think are going to go over well being discussed in TBOT...

Edit: One point that I feel I can make is that this bill does seem to make it "Guilty until proven Innocent", in that a miscarriage has to be proven to have no "human involvement" (whatever that means).
