WOW , you just never know what you will see in the Teacher Lounge anymore ! The women are selling and buying toe rings from each other. I find this very peculiar.

Never visit Austin in the warm months, if you are turned off by feet and toe rings. Honey, every woman around here wears them with their sandals. Since its so hot here, we bare our feet at every opportunity, and it is considered quite rude to not keep your feet nicely. I've seen female members of the State Lege, corporate muckety-mucks, prominent news anchors and reporters, and school admins and faculty wear toe rings, as does every other kind of female.
Pretty feet that can be displayed with lovely toe rings and sexy sandals are valued here. If you have fugly feet, ladies, do something about them, or wear shoes that hide them, please.

I rarely see a pair of well taken care of feet, and the adornment of them is just calling attention to something gross.
