Also women were blocked from advancing in their careers, stuck at lower management and secretarial roles, and it was common for male employees to assume that if they wanted coffee all they had to do was tell a female employee to go get them some coffee "with two sugars, sweetie" and a pat on the bum. And women were routinely paid less per hour than men, for doing the same level of work. This last bit was true all over the place until quite recently. |

Women's studies programs and the academic emphasis on the performance of female students are indications of the new place of the woman in today's society.

My now exwife worked at USAA, she had accounts there.. i was added to her accounts. They were initially HER accounts. When we were separated, I had to sign a paper to be removed from her accounts. All I had to do to have her removed is just call and have her removed from her own accounts. Divorce WIN
I was being a nice guy and just had myself removed, though.
It made me think that this gives men more rights than adulterous overweight bitches. It's pretty cool.

About voting, civil rights (such as the right to dispose of your own money or sign checks), contraception, abortion, civil status.
I think somehow the last generation didn't pass the relay baton to their daughters. there were hard fights for these rights that should not be forgotten. Quote:

I had several accounts by myself until I got married the first time. When we got divorced, I had to open new accounts! The only way I could drop her from the accounts if if she died! (And don't think I didn't consider it)
Back to your topic. I guess there needs to be a distiction as to whether or not we (for your paper) are talking about LEGAL rights or just the privileges afforded to women that weren't in days gone by. I would say that there are just as many of each. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
