It's been raining non-stop for nearly three days here. Weather forecast says it won't stop until maybe Sunday. Flash flood warnings have been issued. I'm looking out my apartment window and I see that the common lawn area has been flooded with about an inch of water.

My whole driveway in my back yard is oversaturated and flooded over. There's standing water inside my garage. And behind the garage in the middle of the lawn is a giant pond. Every year, I expect to see ducks land in my back yard in the melted-snow pond that develops yearly.
Yeah, same here. backyard is flooded too...AND, we're getting a cold snap this weekend, which will surely freeze to icerink quality...making it interesting for my dog to take a poo.
Around these parts, we don't worry about rain until it is coming down for nine or ten days straight. People around here flip out when it doesn't rain for three days straight.
were having some pretty serious flooding here in Indianapolis also. Somehow we have been in the dead middle of all these terrible storms, and we have gotten by far the least of it everytime. The rain just wont stop though.
