Upcoming monday is my interview! Hope I get in!

The Formula Student is an international competition between a bunch of Technical Universities. Every university has a team of students that designs and builds a formula student car. At the end of the year they race against eachother in the UK and in Germany. Prizes are also won on design, marketing, innovation, endurance, top speed, etc. etc.

good luck!

the stand in guitarist in my old band is a lecturer in motor sport and regularly takes team to the UK races.

It hardly counts as a "job" does it?

far too much fun....

Ahhhh yes! I'm going to do the same thing over here. Except it's called Formula Sae and we all meet up in Michigan. Maybe they'll do an international event?

Very cool. I wish they had something like that back when I was getting my ISYE degree.

The "design the most efficient cracker factory" competition just isn't as sexy.
