Woot.com - Woot your own adventure!

Were any other woot.com fans up at midnight trying to score the April Fool's Bag of Crap? The Woot Your Own Adventure theme was awesome and hilarious. You can still go check it out and try to see if you can get to the Bag of Crap but it's sold out.

I did it! I cracked the mystery in time to get one.

If you're not familiar the April Fool's Random Bag of Crap (which always costs $3.00) has been known to include any number of goodies from multiple mp3 players to 52" HDTVs. Can't wait to see what mine contains! Bags of Crap (also known as "Bandoliers of Carrots" and many other names) usually sell out within seconds after midnight, especially the April Fool's craps. But on April Fool's Day there is usually some catch. Like last year the shipping was $1,000,000 but there was a hidden coupon code to normalize that.

I'll let you know what's in mine...it'll probably be disappointing but it was fun to play!

I have a bag of crap for sale. I'll give it to you for $3 plus shipping. It might smell a little.

Mike,

I was kinda POed because I made it past the levels that should have gotten me the BoC but the at the end of those games it would give me an error string where the button to order the crap should have been. Kinda frustrating since I stayed up way too late. After hearing some other guys talk about it turns out it may have been an issue with their java not liking Firefox.

Overall though last year's April fools BoC was way more teh epic than this year's. Kinda sums up Woot overall since Amazon bought them out.

I agree with the Amazon comment. It just isn't the same anymore.

when they sell gloves and other non-electronic goodies incessantly, yeah, not Woot anymore. Even shirt.woot sucks a metric ton. I haven't bought a shirt from them in forever.

Woot Off still going on today.

I have to say, I miss the old days of Woot. One webpage, one item at a time for sale. I about have a nervous breakdown trying to track all the items for sale now during a Woot Off. What if I miss something?
