Wordpress as a CMS

Do any of you guys have a personal/pro website you manage with Wordpress? I'm developing my own (blog + portfolio, I update often) in my spare time right now and I love it, but I'm curious about what the other decent alternatives are.

To neophytes, here are some examples of what Wordpress can do:

i'm about to start one up with WP using CentOS via a Cloud Server.. talk about headache, but i want to learn. funny how you start this thread.

Hey thanks, I'm expecting developers to chime in tomorrow morning, since TB seems to take a significant portion of everyone's work hours

My website is hosted on a clustered server with redundant switching/routing (DoS = fail, mwuhahaha). I get about 35 seconds of downtime per week, during backup. Great service thus far.

Right now, I'm just sending the WP theme to a temporary page displaying my e-mail, but I didn't use PHP there. It's my next step. Unfortunately, University is taking most of my time, and my amazing book will be read later
