Does anybody know of any legit ones? It doesnt have to pay a dump ton. I'm just looking for something to hold me over between jobs. I checked out one i read about, working for google, but it turns out it was a flop. |

Best is to know a company or employer and convince them to work from home, not easy, especially in this market.
Or start your own business in case there's a domain where you could work and get prospective customers. |

Ususally, it involves more specialized skills than regular jobs. I know some guys who can pay their monthly fees with online poker, or the odd popular blog, but other than that, a "regular" job might be a better choice for a student.

Well, you can set up a website that is a catchall for popular search phrases. When people click on a link from your website, you get paid. Get a few sites running, and you'll be making money in your sleep and you don't have to do a dang thing. I have a friend in North Carolina that makes about $1500 a month off this.
The porn idea is legit also, if that doesn't violate your morals. Just host a site with a bunch of click through links.

| I did AdSense on a blog for a while. Think it took me a couple of years to make $100. On the other hand, my blog was devoid of high traffic topics like porn or politics...
Meanwhile: I make a little money on the side through micro-stock photography. Enough to fund my last G.A.S. attack. If you're any good, and have a decent camera, it can be fun. I know people who are making pretty good money, but they are much more active than I. Shutterstock is my best performer, but I belong to several.

I know there are jobs stuffing envelopes, etc. for advertisers, pretty darned boring from what I hear....

you are correct, however, clark howard has a team of people that constantly review and try out these sites to confirm they are legit before putting them on his website. If you ever get a chance to hear him, you'll know how much of a stickler he is...
But you should always use your best judgement when applying for these types of jobs.
Like i said, LiveOps is a legit W.A.H. company that does background/credit checks on their prospective employees. Thats what their charge is for. There is a page that shows what will and will not pass the background check. i can't account for any others...
