Not good for family relationships.
If you dont' spend time with someone, you don't really have much of a relationship?
I think that's the whole point of being a workaholic. It gives you an excuse never to around. |

Between my salaried job, and my side projects for extra cash, I've worked 7 days a week, every week, since November. About 100 hours a week.
Lots of work, no question, but it's worth it every time I look at my bank account.

Example:
Last summer I worked 55+ hours/week between two jobs in order to buy a real bass rig and some other things. Most of the time I am very lazy. But I'll be pulling as many hours /week as possible with one job this summer in order to afford a new (used) car.
On the other hand, my grandmother is nearly 80 years old, yet she never sits still. She does clothing alterations, cooks, cleans, organizes, shops, gardens, takes care of her dog, whatever.

I'm looking for a weekend job just so I can build my collection of dead presidents even more. But I haven't found anything yet. Don't get me wrong; I like to chill. But I like money too.
