I'm AT work.
However, I'm hardly WORKING.
The phones have been pretty quiet, most other people have off, only one outage right now and it's out of our hands (ISP's trouble). I'm basically sitting here keeping myself busy by cleaning the NOC area, reviewing open tickets and making sure there's nothing else I can do with them and waiting for the magical 2:30 to come around... yippie... |

out of an international crew of about 20, it's just me and a bud in London today and he's leaving in about 30 mins..so I'll be the last lone poor sucker working tech issues after that. There will INEVITABLY be a guy from India calling at 3:59. It never ever fails.

i deliver for a pharmacy, usually i do two runs of deliveries on the days i work (half the week, i split it with my grandfather)
today i only have to do one, but i get payed for two 
and i get payed for nothing tommorow as the store is closed

Apparently someone screwed up and now, after coming in at 7, she has to stay until 5:30. She and one other person are literally the only two people in an entire company working. So everyone else got let out at 12 and she has to stay later than on a normal day.
